Stanley and his wife, Esme, lead a church for fun and profit (mostly profit, if they’re being honest, which they rarely are.) They’re willing to perform the occasional exorcism if the price is right – but they certainly don’t believe in the demonic. One day, Stanley performs an exorcism on a woman who turns out to actually be possessed. The demon follows him and Esme home — and suddenly, Stanley and Esme are forced to confront consequences that they’d faithfully believed would never arrive.
