Join OperaCréole as we present the Christmas Cantata “Ballad of the Brown King”, composed by Margaret Bonds with lyrics by Langston Hughes.
“Ballad of the Brown King” is a Christmas Cantata. There will be music and narration telling the story of one of the 3 Wise Men, King Balthazar; a dark-skinned man who traveled to Bethlahem to witness the birth of Jesus.
The concert is followed by a children’s tea, with visits from King Balthazar and members of OperaCréole.
