As Yule fades and Carnival begins to rise, the Krewe of Krampus gathers for one of our most meaningful traditions, the Transfer of the Light Ceremony, a symbolic moment that marks the turning of the season and the passing of celebratory spirit from one chapter of New Orleans culture to the next.

This year, the ceremony becomes the centerpiece of an unforgettable night as we host our first-ever Krampus Ball, but not your standard ball. This is Krampus, after all.
Prepare for an evening of immersive art, dark festive elegance, and atmospheric magic, featuring:

• An interactive live performance by PINK TEDDY BEAR
– Surreal, hypnotic, and unlike anything else.

• DJ-driven music throughout the evening
– A soundscape that carries us from Yule’s last glow into Carnival’s early spark.

• The Transfer of the Light Ceremony
– A shared moment of reflection, connection, and intention as we welcome the Carnival season.

• Visual treats + unexpected delights
– Because Krampus never hosts an ordinary gathering.
