This year’s haunt takes place not in your traditional ghostly manor, but in the swamps of our own Gulf South. Come with us on a journey into the not-so-distant future, to a world engulfed in water, where only a small archipelago remains. You’ll explore the aftermath of human greed and exploitation across the cursed dystopias of unique islands and their unlucky inhabitants. As fear for the fate of our planet grows, we offer these visions of post-apocalypse not only for your curiosity, but in validation of your anxieties, so we might out of this darkness make way for light.
This community-powered, theatrical haunt features puppets, actors and the work of over 30 local artists. Shadow Hours 2026 will be open nightly Wednesday Oct 28 – 31, starting at 6p. We are the only haunted house (that we know of) featuring concerts by local bands, including JUNKGUY & the Dump Truck Gang on Wednesday 10/28 and BLOWGUN feat. Miriam Hacksaw on Halloween Night.
Additional programming includes courtyard entertainment from the No-Quarter Sea Shanty Choir, a community altar space, specialty cocktails, pop up food vendors, and more!
WALK-THROUGHS OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE REQUIRE TIMED TICKET ENTRY.No more than 8 visitors can enter the haunted house per group. You must arrive 15 minutes before your timeslot to ensure entry to the haunt.
