The Memory Palace is a collaboratively devised work of dance-theater to be staged in May 2027 at the New Marigny Theater. On Sunday September 13, 6-8pm, 2026, we’re hosting an open workshop in which we’ll experiment with questions including: How does dancing help you remember? What’s the earliest dance you can remember doing? Can your body remember how your mother used to dance before you were born? Can you dance a duet with the memory of a loved one? Can I translate my memories to your body through dancing? In this two-hour workshop, we’ll use movement, writing, dreaming, and object-work to explore our individual and collective memories. Open to all; “non-dancers” encouraged to join! Sign-up in advance here: bit.ly/memorypalace-nmt
